About Agent Salon SF

Independent site. Not affiliated with any salon listed. Booking happens on the salon's own system.

What this is

An independent, agent-first reference for haircuts in San Francisco. It exists to answer requests like "find a short haircut in the Financial District tomorrow after 5 pm under $50 with a specific stylist, and take me to book it" with current, sourced, comparable facts.

What we use as sources

How availability works

We capture each stylist's open windows from the salon's booking system and derive start times the same way the salon's widget does (window minus service duration, on the provider's slot step). Each capture is timestamped. Availability older than the salon's freshness threshold is labeled STALE. We never present a captured slot as guaranteed; the salon's booking page is the source of truth at booking time. Refresh cadence per salon is published in its JSON record under bookingSources[].crawl.

Booking

We do not take bookings. Every result links to the salon's own booking page and states exactly which selections remain for the user.

Data model

Entities: Salon, Stylist, Offering (a priced service normalized to a haircut type and inclusions), BookingSource (how the salon takes appointments and how we read it), AvailabilitySnapshot (captured free windows), Slot (derived start time). Every consequential value carries provenance: status, source type, source URL, observation time, note. Schemas: https://agentsalonsf.com/api/v1/openapi.json.

Coverage

Experiment 001, started 2026-10-23: one salon in the Financial District. Target: 60–100 salons across the Mission, Hayes Valley / Lower Haight, and FiDi / SoMa.
